Exclusive video of the HUGE explosion in Tianjin, China this week

This footage is UNBELIEVABLE. It was sent to me by a friend that lives in China and as far as I know it has not been posted on the internet in the U.S. until now. I have seen other videos of the explosion but they weren’t quite as close in proximity as this one is. Timing is everything and the English speaking man (possibly an American) that shot this video with his cell phone actually managed to film the very 1st explosion that occurred.

There were multiple explosions however and the final explosion was so huge that it lit up the entire sky. One lady that lives about 2 miles from the explosion actually thought that it was an earthquake and quickly evacuated her home. My Chinese friend referred to this as “The Chinese 9 11”. My heart goes out to all of the people that live in Tianjin. At latest count, there are over 500 people injured and 44 reported dead but may have changed by the time you read this.

It’s amazing how many of us are willing to meet with strangers

Everyone has heard all of the “horror” stories associated with Craigslist. To be perfectly fair, it’s probably not just to call them “Craigslist” horror stories; I think “internet” horror stories would be more precise. The truth is that anytime you put your personal information “out there” you are taking a calculated risk and Craigslist is just one of many convenient places for predators to do their particular brand of “shopping”.

If you had the time (and inclination) to do a little research you would find literally thousands of stories of what can happen when meeting an internet “friend” that is, in reality, a complete stranger. Regardless of why you would meet someone that you know only from the internet you are taking a huge risk. If you do, however, decide to meet someone there are precautions that you should take to ensure your personal safety.

Here are 10 tips (provided by Huntsville PD) on how to protect yourself if you are meeting someone that you do not know:

1. Trust your instincts.
2. Don't go alone.
3. Insist to meet at a public place such as a police precinct.
4. Do not meet in a secluded area.
5. Do not invite strangers into your home, and do not go to theirs.
6. Be cautious when buying/selling high value items.
7. Perform the transaction during daylight hours.
8. If it sounds too good to be true, it normally is.
9. Tell a friend or family member about your intentions.
10. Take your cell phone with you.

Have Canadian researchers found a cure for cancer?

It sounds too good to be true and maybe this is just another one of “those” reports that we hear about from time to time that never seem to go anywhere. Nonetheless the internet is beginning to buzz with the news that researchers at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada have discovered a cure for cancer. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if this were really true this time?

This isn’t the first time that a so called cure for cancer has been discovered over the years. In the past there have been many reports of a miraculous cure to the greatest enemy that mankind has ever faced. Sometimes they were nothing more than a money making scam, other times further research disproved the claim. There were also times that we simply never heard anything after the initial report. This gave rise to many conspiracy theories stating that the true cure to cancer was being suppressed by the “powers that be” in some type of elaborate money scheme. Some believe that this disease is too big of a money maker for the big pharmaceutical companies and medical industry as a whole to simply disappear.

Regardless of what your personal beliefs might be, there have been few reports on television, radio or traditional news sources about this most recent breakthrough. According to this latest study, a drug known as DCA (dichloroacetate - currently used to treat metabolic disorders) has been used to kill lung, breast and brain cancer cells without damaging the surrounding healthy cells. Even more amazing is the fact that there are virtually no side effects or long term concerns about this drug. I truly wonder if this is just another false claim or if this time a working cure has actually been discovered.

One thing is for certain; we have all lost loved ones to this hideous and unforgiving disease and I pray that this is not yet another hoax or rumor that will soon disappear as has happened so many times in the past. Cancer is too serious a topic for such games. As always time will tell all. You can access the original research here.
